Directors:  Daniel Brizuela

Screenwriter:  Daniel Brizuela

Genre:  Short absurdist comedy

Inspired by many absurdist plays, especially Samuel Becket's Waiting for Godot, two young students wait in front of a drawing of a tree for some other friends of theirs. As they wait, the two face great challenges that will test the two of them and will forever change their lives.

Waiting For... is Daniel Brizuela's final thesis film for the New York Film Academy before graduating in September of 2015. Though preproduction and postproduction took months to do, the actual shooting took just one day to film it all.

Waiting For...

Screenwriter:  Daniel Brizuela

Genre:  Slapstick action comedy

After a well respected police detective manages to capture a notorious mob boss and send him to prison, said mob boss hires his best hitman to go after the detective. As the hitman plans to kill the detective at a resort he has unfortunate luck due to going through slapstick style injuries along the way.

A mixture of modern action comedies and old style Three Stooges slapstick, Hitman's Folley has only begun to be written. Once Quoting Fever is finished being written and hopefully greenlighted soon after, more focus on Hitman will be underway.

Hitman's Folley

Screenwriter:  Daniel Brizuela

Genre:  Comedy-drama

In mid-1920s Hollywood, a young and succesful screenwriter named Jack Tupon is hired to write the first ever sound film. After being told to take months to work hard on the script, especially on the final line of the film, Jack wakes up with writers block with the only thing left being the final line. Wanting to help him, Jack's brother Carl decides that the best thing for him is to take a road trip throughout Los Angeles to gain inspiration and along the way they have an adventure, meet with friends, and witness both amazing and crazy things.

Nearly finishing with the script, writing for Quoting Fever first began back in 2012 and, due to being given so many assignments in that time, has taken time to work on it. However, it is very likely that the script will be completed in a month or two and once that is done, will find somewhere to greenlight it to.
